Do families of victims feel as if justice is served?Look at the case with Trayvon Martin he was 17 years old when he was killed. The man who shot him,George Zimmerman admits to doing so in self defense. Although he walks around a free man for now feeling as if he has done nothing wrong. While Trayvon's family marches and protestes for an arrest to be made. Why do you think they do it? Is it because they feel like justice was not served? That is just one case what about Shaniya Davis? A five year old girl from Fayetteville, NC who was sold as a sex slave to pay back her mother's drug debt. Yes. I said"sold as a sex slave" and she is only five. She was sexually abused, and she died from asphyxiation {being smothered}. Her father was pleading for the return of his beloved daughter. Yet when they found her or should I say her remains she was in pieces. Her mother was charged with: first degree murder, indecent liberties with a child, felony child abuse, felony sexual servitude, rape, sexual offense of a child by an adult offender, human trafficking and making a flse police report. Once Shaynia's father heard the charges he broke down with even more grief, yet he was relieveed to know that her mother was put behind bars. That goes to show that sometimes justice is truly served. Their are many more stories like these but this is only a few to get you wondering if justice is really served and if so to who?
